"The Black Bengal is found in the eastern region of India, in the states of West Bengal and adjoining areas in Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa, Assam, Mizoram and Tripura.

Coat colour is predominantly black, brown/grey and white with soft, glossy and short hairs.

Most prolific among Indian breeds.
Multiple births common, two, 3 or 4 kids born at a time.
